2 famous quotes I want to mention, and one reason why I started the boards back again. There is soo much negitivity and downers on another board, that we have to have a place for you, the collector, to just enjoy what you collect. And a place for you to post freely your "enjoyment" and "passion" of the hobby without fear of the downers and haters to take thier pop shots. (or is it pot shots?)
I just don't understand it? Why would there even be soo much of this on a hobby? If you are one of those, why not quit, regroup, and start a new hobby? if there is that much negitivity on your side of the fence, you must not really enjoy this awesome hobby. Just move aside, yes, please step aside, and let us enjoy our hobby. Put your toy cars on the bay, sell em off, and take some serious yoga, or heck even some MMA or boxing, that might help ease the tensions.

Now with that said, so far we have not had that here, but it just makes me shake my head at the "other board" and wonder why so many still go there? 1/2 of the posts made are either downers, haters or show promotions. Just seems like many (on that board) lost touch with what this hobby is all about. I ask myself why do I continue to go there, and trust me it is purely (sad to say this) business related. Here (and jltalk.com) is fun related. ;-0
Nice rant Russ! If you're not having fun then why continue with the hobby? Although I am a member on only two forums, both have great members and hosts and very little if any complaining (none here that I know of). That is why I spend a lot of my time here, lots of cool cars to look at and fun, easy reading here in the forum.
