Weekly Newsletter #14

Hi Everyone,

It's a rainy Friday here in Indiana, and looks like tomorrow will be filled with the same.  So hopefully you all are having a bit better weather that what we are having.  This weeks newsletter will be filled with lots of new product info, and then a VIP intro about our shipping methods (kinda a training and Tips write up).  So hopefully you have a few minutes to read our newsletter......

Shipping Tips
our new site programming allows the customer to be able to choose between UPS and USPS, as rates are giving in real time, and based on weight and shipping location.  Many times we see customers select a method that is much higher than another method.  Yes sometimes folks prefer a shipping company, but we feel some just are not aware of the options you have in shipping.  And Canada folks, please read this area carefully.
As a rule of thumb USPS Priority Mail is usually the cheaper method on small orders.  But on the bigger orders UPS will be cheaper.  To view each rate, simply select the "Display Rates" next to each UPS and USPS category.  And you will see the quotes from each.

As for Canada shipping we are now offering First Class Shipping on orders that are 4 pounds or less.  This option is not shown on the, we are still working to get this part fixed.   But for now if you are ordering less than 8 1/64 scales vehicles, your order will more than likely be 4 pounds or less.  Please select the USPS Priority Rate, and then in the comment box of checkout write "Please Ship USPS First Class if available".  If your package is indeed 4 pounds or less we will ship this method and a refund on shipping will be made to your credit card, or paypal. (whichever method you paid).
Hopefully this has helped you all in shipping, we want to help you make the most of your shopping with us.

Greenlight
Hot off the truck this week we have the Black Bandits R3 and Muscle Car Garage Hobby R3.  All pre-orders have been shipped and singles are on the site.  We have already sold out of a few models, but more are on order and will arrive late next week.  This is why we always stress to pre-order as we always base our ordering on the amount of pre-orders we receive.  Because we received a little light on pre-orders we assumed you all did not like the sets so we in turn ordered light.
So when we listed the singles, we did not think they would sell fast, and you all surprised us.    many times we will not re-order as we do not want to have too many overstock items, but these sold quite fast, so we will get more in stock.
Also aded pre-order info for the Hot Pursuit R1.

M2 Machines
M2 Machines are hot this week with the new Auto-Thentics R6, Auto-Lifts 2 Packs, and Auto-Lifts 5 Packs Lifts.  The lifts are just hot!  So hot we are offering these to you in singles, yes you can just buy one if you like.  Each lift holds 2 vehicles (1 on top, one on bottom).
Also added pre-order info for the Auto-Thentics R7 and Detroit-Muscle R5.

Milezone Exclusives
The Flames - The Series line just got hotter with our 19th Edition to the line-up.  We would like to present you the '49 Mercury from M2 Machines.  This is limited to only 700 produced and only 48 chase vehicles.  We hope to have these early July.  Pre-order now as this one may go quick.

Johnny Lightning
Nothing new this week from the JL Team but we did add a few new pre-order items for the 40th Anniversary line.  Please give them a peek, and wait till you see some of the hot rides coming for C and D cases!  WOW!

Hot Wheels
This week we received new Classics.  8 new rides in this set, so there are plenty to choose from.  Also we received the new Connect Cars.  Subscriptions will be filled for these next week.

Ok that's it for this week.  Thanks for all your support and have a great weekend.

Thanks for the update Russ smile. I see that you've already sold about half of your pre-orders for the Hot Pursuit series. I figured this set would be a good seller for you biggrin.

I am very excited to get my order Russ, I was with my family so I left the ordering instructions with my GF, and I'm glad I did because when I was finally able to look at a computer some of the stuff I wanted was sold out.

I think I may be one of the customers who the shipping cost refers to, but in most cases I will still go with USPS. It is much easier for me to pick up USPS packages, and we have to pay a fee when we pick up packages here from the various package carriers.

Thanks for all your hard work Russ. There's a reason why you are the absolute first place I look at for my online diecast!
